Lets talk about suncream
Most people believe that factor 50 is the best way to protect your skin from the sun but in fact it may be doing the opposite...
Although it does protect you from burning for a longer period of time, is it protecting you in a non harmful way?
Factor 30 filters 96.7% of UVB
Factor 50 filters 98% of UVB
Although this may look better it really is not! Factor 50 uses more chemicals in the formula which can transfer to your blood stream within 30 minutes this has been known to cause an array of problems.
Where as factor 30 does not use chemicals to protect your skin meaning it is less harmful!
How do I over come this?
If you want to avoid using factor 50 the best way is to just use factor 45 and under and just reapply the sun cream more frequently so you make sure your protected from the sun
A lot of people tend to only protect themselves from the sun in summer, but it is just as important to protect yourself from the sun in winter. Just because you can feel the hot sun doesn't mean it still isn't damaging your skin.
Stay protected :)
